HYC Lobsterfest includes fresh lobsters flown in from the east coast that are cooked/eaten on the beach while we dance to a live band.

Aarrgggg maties, this is Pirate Don speaking! Mark July 21 in your calendars at HYC. This is going to be a family fun day for both members, their children and /or grandchildren. The days activities will be geared towards the young pirates and will include, dressing up as pirates (includes adults), treasure hunt, pirate food, pirate punch and wrap up with a pirate parade & prizes. So start getting your costumes ready!

The sign-up sheet is posted in the clubhouse. Please sign-up for you and your guests. Social director will be collecting from you as names appear on the sign up sheet.
All food is purchased based on the number of people that have signed up. The price structure has been modified to reflect the “no shows” problem. The $20 refundable fee charged per member will be refunded as you submit your ticket for the barbecue.
LCYC will be our guests for dinner as well as breakfast on Sunday.

Please join your cruising hosts for this year’s Drop the Hook excursion.
The selected anchorage will be posted on the blackboard outside the washroom Saturday morning based on forecasted wind direction.
We hope to use one of two anchorages in McPhee Bay, which are “Stop Sign” or “Big House.” Duclos Point anchorage is also possible.
Raft up at anchorage: 3pm approx. or any time!
Bring: Hors d’oeuvres or drinks to share.
We normally break off and anchor for dinner / overnight.

Events include a long distance race Saturday followed by a corn roast at 6 p.m. Sunday is the spinnaker run followed by wieners, beans and Spanish coffee at 6 p.m.
